Connected or Crazy?

I spent a lot of time getting up-to-date on a lot of online networks today. I spin a tangled web of internet content.

- I maintain the web content for our church at centerpointcolton.com.

- I have a new web address for The Journey's young adult ministry page: truthlivedout.com.

- The Journey's Friday night service, Fuel, also has a podcast at fuelcast.truthlivedout.com.

- The Journey can even be found at MySpace.com/towardtruth, which I am now using for both The Journey & Toward Truth.

- The old address--towardtruth.com (and towardtruth.net)--I have re-purposed for my own personal ministry endeavors, apart from the church.

- As of today, Toward Truth now has a Twitter feed and a Facebook page.

I recently revamped the institute of Christian Studies

- And, of course, we can't forget that I am updating Cristina's cake site, CristinaCakes.com, and this blog, ShawnandCristina.com, too.

As much as possible, I'm trying to make it so that if I update on one network it will post on the others as well. I would do this for a living but I don't have any technical know-how whatsoever (all of networks and websites work on a strictly point, click, drag and drop basis). I'm more interested in the content anyhow.

I guess what it boils down to is we have a lot of stuff going on... church, The Journey, Toward Truth, CristinaCakes, and just plain life. For some the web pages, like this blog, myspace and facebook, it's the only way we keep you updated on our lives. For other sites, like the cristinacakes and towardtruth, it comes with the territory of getting the word out.
