Well, a couple of notable things have happened in the last month worth mentioning.
Cristina had a successful customer service day at work. She was part of the team that planned everything and put all the work in to make it one of the best luncheons they've had. I had some of the leftovers and they were delicious!
I have been offered and accepted a position as a board member for a local Christian educational ministry, Institute of Christian Studies International. I'm looking forward to supporting the mission of ICSI in "educating Christians to boldly become becomes of truth."
And I have reached the five-year mark at Centerpoint Church as their young adult pastor. It has been an amazing journey, which I plan to continue as long as the Lord allows.
Finally, I'm in the final stretch of school right now. So, if you haven't heard from me lately, it's nothing personal. But you may want to give it until after December 19. I have 32 days of school to go. And all the major assignments are beginning to be due, along with the regular weekly coursework. In fact, I'm in the middle of a 10-page paper right now, from which I'm taking a break. I'm really hoping to finish well. Nevertheless, work is giving school some competition. I'm still trying to get our church's new website up and running. There are a few technical things I need to do before we launch. But, of course, all of this takes time. And, like school, I still have my weekly responsibilities to tend to, leading a small group and overseeing a service.
So I guess that's the update for now. I'll try to get on here again before Thanksgiving. We'll see...
