Moving

We're moving Cristina on Sunday (July 1) from her apartment in Upland to a new place in Redlands. We've spent most of the week packing. Hopefully, we can get everything moved quickly. With enough trucks and helpers, we'll only have to make one trip. We plan to start loading stuff around 9am and be in Redlands unloading around noon.

Even though it's "our" place, Cristina gets it to herself until we marry. The Kimberly is a three-story complex first built as upscale condos in the 60's. Our unit is a 1600 sq. ft. unit with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has tons of storage space and plenty of room to grow. We could easily live there until we're ready to buy a house. In fact the last tenants in our apartment lived there for 12 years. The location is great. It is across the street from an Albertson's shopping center, complete with Rite Aid, 24 Hour Fitness, Blockbuster Video, and various eating establishments, and walking distance from the charming downtown area.

We also have a great building manager whose maiden name happens to be Candelaria. She's from New Mexico like my dad. So we could be distant cousins.
