Today was the first Saturday in my recent memory when Cristina and I got to do nothing in particular! It was wonderful. We slept in, but not too late. We had to get up in time to buy tickets to see U2's 360 tour at Sam Boyd Stadium (UNLV) in Las Vegas. Tickets went on sale at 10am. And when I last checked at 1:30am, all but the cheap seat have been sold out. I would not be surprised if the entire show sells out by tomorrow. In fact the reason we are going to Vegas is that the Rose Bowl is sold out. If anyone is interested, tickets for the Phoenix show go on sale on Monday.
Cristina went to her decorating class at JoAnn's. If you'd like to see the cakes she's been making recently, check out CristinaCakes.com. The email address listed is not up and running yet. But you can still see we creations.
While she was away, I finally broke in our Wii with a little Smash Bros. And practiced my guitar exercises.
Once Cristina got back she took some time to organize all her cake supplies in her new cake organizer, and I cleaned up a bit (more cleaning to come in the next few days), and Buffalo was roaming around all the while.
We had some delicious tacos for dinner. And then we watched this week's episode of The Office followed by Fireproof. The movie is remarkable considering it was almost completely made by volunteers. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is married or going to be married. Here's a one minute synopsis of the movie...
